Set in the 24th century, Aria transports readers to Aqua a terraformed Mars where endless waterways shape daily life. At the heart of this serene world lies Neo-Venezia, a city modeled after Venice, complete with canals, gondolas, and an enchanting atmosphere.
The story follows Akari Mizunashi, a young woman who leaves Earth behind to chase her dream of becoming an undine, a professional gondolier who guides visitors through Neo-Venezia’s scenic canals. She joins the small but welcoming Aria Company, where she trains under the elegant Alicia Florence, one of the city’s most accomplished undines.
